Having worked in the international sports industry for more than ten years, Philippe Gueisbuhler is the Director of the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) – the umbrella body that acts as the united voice of International Sports Federations.
A multilingual speaker, Gueisbuhler works with GAISF’s 125 Members to support them in an array of areas such as good governance, development and promoting their sports globally, from grassroots to elite level competition. More recently, he has been actively involved in developments around the future of esports and its role within the international sports community.
Gueisbuhler’s extensive experience and knowledge in the field of event management sees him play a key role in the organisation of a number of GAISF’s international multi-sport events such as the World Urban Games and the World Combat Games.
Prior to his current role, Gueisbuhler was the Head of Administration at SportAccord and an Event Manager within the private sector working with luxury brands.
