Silje Munkvold is a trained anthropologist, with a master’s degree in political science. She is based in Norway, where she leads the initiative of developing new forms of citizen involvement in Bodø municipality. These work tasks are closely linked to the local governments smart and sustainable city strategy. As part of her job description she is also the project lead towards Bodø’s participation in U4SSC United for Smart Sustainable Cities- implementation programme. Living in the North of Norway, a personal passion is to bring forward the region as a pioneer within the field of sustainable solutions that takes all dimensions in account and all actors engaged.
