Tom is a unique voice with the sustainability world. He is an award-winning former sports marketing executive turned sustainable development expert with more than two decades building successful brands and managing the infrastructure and delivery of results in both North America and Europe.
Tom’s long list of achievements include playing a pivotal role in the phenomenal growth of the UEFA Champions League brand from 1998-2004.
For the past 8 years Tom has focused on sustainable development. His life altering journey began with the 34th America’s Cup from 2010-13 where Tom & his team created the America’s Cup Healthy Oceans program as a central part of the brand, commercial partnership and media strategy, while also implementing the most sustainably delivered major sporting event in US History.
In 2017 Tom created GAMEPLAN:IMPACT, to package and offer his unique expertise, business development insights and “for-profit sustainability” approach to a wider audience. By incorporating sustainability as a core value proposition implemented at the ”brand-DNA” level, organizations can effectively activate live their Purpose and CSR missions authentically, driving increased sales, revenue, brand following and positive, tangible social and environmental impacts in the process. Tom’s driving mission is to see all organizations become “Triple Bottom Line” where People, Planet and Profit all win.
