Born in 1982 in Rome (Italy), Elisabetta started working for the Italian Taekwondo Federation (FITA) at the age of 23. After having held different roles within the aforementioned Federation, she was then assigned to the management of the Italian National Team, concerning the organisation of collegial training and international competitions.
In 2017, after having managed the National Team engagements for several years and all the Italian Championships in collaboration with Regional Committees and Local Organizing Committees, she has been appointed as head of the organization of taekwondo International events in Italy. In 2018 she organized the first edition of “Roma Grand Prix” in the beautiful setting of Foro Italico. In 2019, in addition to the second edition of “Roma Grand Prix”, she organized the European Championship of taekwondo and para taekwondo in Bari, the Universiade in Naples and Master Games in Turin.
Today, as a result of suspension of sport activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Elisabetta was made responsible for humanitarian projects that the Italian Taekwondo Federation is actually following. First and foremost "Taekwondo 4 Integration", initiated in Sicily in 2016, whose aim is to facilitate integration of refugees in local communities, through a powerful tool such as only sport could be.
