Tony Houhlias is a passionate leader and has an extensive career in sports facility development, major sport event acquisition and innovation. He has been instrumental in positioning the Park as Australia’s premier sports precinct and a legacy success of hosting ‘the best Olympic Games ever’.

He is a senior member of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority team who has seen him develop a unique sports place making model and economic strategy. This strategy has resulted in securing in excess of $260M worth of sports infrastructure projects, a strong sports events schedule and has fostered the growth of a network of sports organisations, home teams and athletes that continue to inspire participation in sport.
