Janelle Janis is the Director of Edmonton Events, a strategic partnership between the City of Edmonton and Explore Edmonton, attracting major sport events to the city and is committed to their success. Playing elite soccer growing up, Janelle has experienced firsthand how impactful sport can be in one’s life. She is passionate about leveraging sport events to create inspiration and opportunity for people in her community, and believes that sport can change the world - one event at a time.
